During this popular 2-hour guided walking meditation event, we’ll explore ways in which we can begin to slow down and draw upon nature to help us contact our deeper selves, as well as discover more peace and ease in our lives. It will include several guided meditations, periods of silent walking, and time for personal reflection. No previous meditation experience is needed.
Where we’ll begin: The spacious library in “The Quarters,” the farm’s historic main brick landmark building (through the archway pictured here.)
What to bring: Whatever you think you’ll need for walking outside … like good walking shoes, bug spray, and whatever clothing might be good for varying weather.
About Blandy: Arrive early and explore! With more than 5,000 living trees, the diverse collection at Blandy includes 200 varieties of confers, 162 types of boxwood, a 300-tree ginkgo grove, a cedar of Lebanon allele, an herb garden, and the Virginia Native Plant Trail.
Registration is required by visiting Blandy’s website, or by calling 540-837-1758, x224
